Engeli was established in 2011 by a group of Enterprise Development Specialists who have extensive experience, both locally and abroad. The team includes a variety of specialists in Private Equity and Fund Management, Business Support Services, Human Resources, Lawyers, Accountants, Engineering and Manufacturing.

More than 15 years’ experience in Skills Development and Positive Youth Development. NDip Human Resources Management. Previously worked in multiple capacities at a leading manufacturing company.
Ayabonga Ntusikazi
Diploma: Human Resource Management & Advanced Diploma in Business Studies majoring in Human Resource Management. Equipped with a year’s worth of experience in transformation consulting , performing ad hoc duties for the transformation department and compiling files for verification purposes.

B. Com. 14 Years' experience in Business Skills Development and Transformation Development. Expertise includes developing of cost-effective B-BBEE solutions across all industry sectors, ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met. Former Business Development Specialist focusing on SME development, growth and sustainability.

Elrene Hart
Seasoned HR Generalist with over 30 years of experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. National Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Postgraduate Degree in Labour Law Management. Former Senior Executive at Trade Union. Experience as a Labour Relations Specialist
BA Honours in Media Studies acquired at NMU. Currently pursuing a MA Media Studies. Over 2 years experience in the Media and Communications industry, including Public Relations and Social Media Marketing from previous experience at Madibaz Radio and SAIMI. She is both creative and passionate about leveraging her skills to develop impactful marketing strategies and campaigns.

She worked at Ukuvula Investment Holdings Group as an Assistant to the B-BBEE Manager and has worked as an assistant in the automotive sector. In charge of ensuring the smooth operation of various Engeli divisions.

BPsych (Registered Counsellor). 18 Years’ experience in Transformation & Development work. Individual, Youth, Community & Business Advancement experience through bespoke solutions. Previously worked at a SANAS accredited B-BBEE Verification Agency and as a B-BBEE Consultant. Currently fills role of Business Development Manager & B-BBEE Specialist.

Passion for Lean Manufacturing and Business Growth, she is recognised for her strategic acumen, adept leadership and great value for building relationships; Successfully spearheaded numerous projects, optimizing processes and driving exceptional results for her teams and organizations.
Liezel Hayter
Liezel spent 3 years with a wealth management company & 4 years with a boutique financial services company as personal assistant to the respective CEOs. Liezel then joined Engeli as an Executive Assistant, but also plays a leading role in the administration of the Supplier & Enterprise Development Fund managed by Engeli, as well as assisting the Financial Director with the preparation of the Group’s Financials.

Diploma in Human Resources Management (NMU) and an Entrepreneurial Development Certification from UCT Graduate School of Business. Experienced in Administration and has volunteered under different Youth Development Programmes and recently worked as a Project Manager at We Do Tech Limited (WDT).

Pinky has held the fort at our Reception for since 2018 and manages the administrative functions and switchboard management. Pinky currently assists a few of the group companies and our Finance Department in their administrative tasks.

During her learnership at KPMG, she passed both SAICA qualifying examinations & registered with SAICA as a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Engeli Enterprise Development, she worked at PWC as a manager in the Service Delivery Centre.

Oyama Soyamba
BA (Honours) in Organizational Psychology and Anthropology from Rhodes University. Experience as an examination assistant with the Department of Education and as a research enumerator at Rhodes University. In recognition of her academic achievements, she was awarded the Dean's Merit Certificate in 2022.
